What is low tech? An educational workshop for children (for school groups or families)
6, le Guiny56380 Porcaro
FRANCE
Activity description
We'll be using low-tech objects, observing their mechanisms and researching their uses: a pedal-powered blender, a pedal-powered washing machine, a solar mass dryer, and for the older kids, the "dragon" stove and Norwegian pot...
We'll use our muscle power to make smoothies, and then play a cooperative game to try and consume as little energy as possible on a daily basis. The workshop concludes with the making of a small low-tech object that everyone can take home.
