Chalet du Clos Giot

Chalet Le Clos Giot is located on an old farm typical of the Cotentin region. Here you'll find peace and nature, local produce and spaces conducive to meditation.

We raise animals of the Normandy Conservation breed, Avranchin sheep, Normandy geese, Rouen ducks, Hotot white rabbits and Normands. Mainly bred for reproduction, they are also used for our own consumption and for direct sale in the case of lambs. Eggs are sold directly.

A large garden and two greenhouses produce vegetables and aromatic herbs for our own consumption and for sale. Fruit trees have been replanted to provide us with fruit for jam-making.

For the past 6 years, we have been welcoming woofers, who take part in our activities.

Forest hedges have just been planted to promote biodiversity and cut the wind, which is very present here.

The surrounding area has remained authentic, with Barfleur, cute little villages, manor houses, tasty produce and the ever-present sea.

Saint Vaast is 3 km away, the sea 2.5 km. The D-Day landing beaches are 20 minutes away.

This holiday will be a breath of fresh air, ideal for recharging your batteries and discovering our beautiful races.
