The cottage can accommodate up to 8 people and includes:
• 4 separate bedrooms
• 8 single beds (90 × 190)
• A bathroom and toilet for each bedroom
• A large, bright living room
• A fully equipped kitchen (oven, stovetop, dishwasher, refrigerator, coffee maker, kettle, teapot)
• A south-facing terrace overlooking the arboretum, with a table and benches
• On-site parking
A 100 m² room is also available upon request for training sessions, workshops, or gentle exercise classes.

Nature & Wildlife Viewing
For those interested, we offer a unique experience: wildlife observation huts are available by reservation.
: deer, foxes, badgers, beavers, squirrels, hares, pheasants, partridges, herons, owls, buzzards, sparrowhawks, kingfishers, and much more… as well as a rich variety of insects, butterflies, dragonflies, and amphibians, all part of daily life in a typical bocage landscape.
You can also enjoy walking trails on the estate, which spans 60 hectares around the plots. These walks allow you to explore the surrounding nature in peace and quiet and observe wildlife in its natural habitat.

How do I get to Les Terres de la Morlière?

🚗 By car: Traveling by car is recommended. The site is located near Saint-Denis-d’Anjou, between Mayenne and Anjou.
🚆 By train: The Sablé-sur-Sarthe SNCF station is the closest, about 12 km from Saint-Denis-d’Anjou. It is served by the TGV from Paris and Nantes, among other cities.
🚌 Public transportation: Public transportation options to the farm are limited. We therefore recommend arranging for a car or a taxi from the Sablé-sur-Sarthe train station.

If your GPS cannot find “La Morlière – 53290 Saint-Denis-d’Anjou” or gives you the wrong route:
- Search for “Chapelle de la Varenne” on your GPS.
- You’ll see the chapel straight ahead and a farm with cows on your left.
- Drive through the farm, following the main road.
- After a few meters, you’ll see a chicken coop on your right.
- A few meters further on, you’ll see two houses, also on your right.
- Continue straight ahead until you reach the sign for “Terres de la Morlière – Gîte La Canopée.”
- Then follow the “Parking” sign on your left. You can park on the right.
If you’d like to unload your luggage, you can continue on to the guesthouse. In the center of the hamlet, you’ll see a pergola with the sign “Bienvenue sous la Canopée.”

Les Terres de la Morlière is, first and foremost, a 60-hectare farm that has been committed to organic farming for nearly 30 years.
Here, the land is cultivated in harmony with nature: meadows, crops, trees, and hedgerows make up a rich and well-preserved bocage landscape. With its 10 km of hedgerows and its agroforestry project, the farm is evolving over time to care for the soil, biodiversity, and the people who live here.
La Morlière is a vibrant, authentic, and welcoming farm, where visitors come to discover a different side of the countryside, share a bit of our daily life, and take the time to reconnect with nature.
Territory description
Les Terres de la Morlière is nestled in the heart of a preserved hedgerow landscape, on the border between Mayenne and Anjou. Here, you don’t have to go far to enjoy nature: the farm’s 60 hectares already offer beautiful paths for walking, taking in the scenery, the trees, and the biodiversity.
Nearby, we recommend exploring the charming village of Saint-Denis-d’Anjou, its heritage, and its winding country roads. Nature and heritage enthusiasts can also set out to explore the Saulges Caves Valley, the picturesque villages, and the landscapes of Mayenne and Anjou.
When the weather is less favorable, the region offers numerous opportunities for cultural and heritage tours, while the farm also allows you to enjoy a peaceful stay and discover its unique atmosphere.
On hot days, the farm’s shaded paths, hedgerows, and natural areas are particularly pleasant for a walk early in the morning or late in the day. It’s also a chance to take the time to discover the farm’s products and simply enjoy the tranquility of the countryside.
