Ecogîte in the heart of an organic market-garden farm; a place to live, produce and experiment! Sleeps 2 to 6.
Les Jardins du Batut, an organic market-gardening farm, welcomes you to its dynamic activity and peaceful gîte. We, Camille and Daniel, cultivate using agroecological methods inspired by living soil market gardening, permaculture... We work mainly by hand and encourage soil life and biodiversity. Since 2020, we've been experimenting and the farm is constantly evolving: we've installed a pond, recuperated rainwater, planted fruit hedges, used green fertilizers, set up a mobile henhouse, built our straw house, bioclimatic greenhouse... We'll share our busy daily life with simplicity and conviviality in our comfortably-equipped gîte for you, your family or your friends. You'll be immersed in the life of the farm, while enjoying the peace and quiet. You'll be able to taste our tasty vegetables or other processed products: apple juice, jams, sauces, lacto-fermentation... We have a small weekly market at the farm, and you'll find all amenities close by. (And if the rhythm of the season allows, you can plan a yoga session with Camille or a visit to the garden with Daniel...).
Our farm is on the edge of a pretty plateau, in a bucolic landscape where the hedges of the bocage are still present and host paths lined with low stone walls. The choice is yours, whether you want to stay on the flat or go for a climb. You can start your country hike here, or stay on to discover the many hiking and biking trails, and visit some of the beautiful villages in the area!

La ferme est située dans un hameau de 3 habitations. La tente safari est isolée dans une forêt de châtaignier à 60m des habitations, donc en immersion "pleine nature". Le bloc sanitaire (coin cuisine, frigo, douches et électricité) est à 30m de la tente. Celle-ci dispose de toilettes sèches à proximité. Table de pique-nique, hamac et salon de jardin africain devant la tente.
