Our small organic farm, nestled in a valley, awaits you for a pleasant moment of relaxation.
This typical Quercy farmhouse with its dovecote, the oldest part of which dates back to the mid-18th century, awaits you nestled in a valley just a stone's throw from the Lot Valley. We straddle the border between Quercy and Rouergue, fifteen kilometers south of Figeac and north of Villefranche de Rouergue.
The gîte, located at one end of the farmhouse, was completely renovated in 2023:
Well insulated, it ensures a pleasant indoor temperature in both summer and winter. We chose to use healthy materials for the insulation and interior plastering: wood wool, hemp and lime plaster.
A wood pellet boiler provides heating in winter, and a solar water heater completes the system.

La Ferme du Breil
I'm an organic farmer, raising sheep, laying hens and horses. I use animal traction to grow vegetables. The three-star gîte, renovated with ecological materials, has 3 bedrooms, 1 living room, 2 bathrooms and 1 kitchen/dining room. You can also enjoy the terrace and private garden. Concerned about our impact on the environment, we take care to sort waste, use water (dry toilets/phyto-purification) and energy (Enercoop/solar water heater/wood central heating). Animals admitted (including horses) according to house rules.
Territory description
Situated in the north-west of Aveyron, the farm is in the heart of the countryside, 5 minutes from the Lot valley, and 1km from the D922 motorway between Figeac (15 minutes) and Villefranche de Rouergue (25 minutes). Sites such as St Cirq Lapopie, Rocamadour, the Bastides du Rouergue, Najac, Conques and Rodez are less than an hour away.
