Our eco-responsible and farming commitments

Farming practices have been certified organic since the specifications were created in 1993, and for the current handover of the agricultural part of the business, the commitment should be maintained. In 2002, 6 m2 of solar panels were installed for hot water. In winter, the boiler only runs on dead wood.

Territory description

Between the Aveyron and Lot valleys. - 20 km from Decazeville. - 20 km from Belcastel. - 25 km from Conques. - 30 km from Villefranche-de-Rouergue. - 35 km from Figeac. - 40 km from Rodez.

At the foot of the small limestone plateau of Bournazel-Roussennac flows the "Bouysses" stream which, through the steep valley, leads to the Decazeville coalfield. Lestrunie clings to the slope of this valley, the boundary between the highly agricultural environment of the Ségala and a region of smaller farms, where multi-skilled farmers also worked in the coal mines.A whole history.
