Gite de Brassacou

The 100-hectare Centre Agro Environnemental de Brassacou, at the foot of the Pyrenees on the banks of the Ariège, is the ideal place for a nature vacation. You'll enjoy the farm and its animals, the preserved ecological environments, the agricultural and educational activities developed on site, and the nearby tourist sites.

The Gite de Groupe has 5 bedrooms, all with private bathrooms, a large living/dining room, a 55 m2 fully-equipped kitchen with fireplace, parking, terraces on either side of the house, a games room (with ping pong, etc.), a barbecue/campfire area and a private beach. Possibly a bed can be added at extra cost. A 2-seater caravan can also be rented. Prices on request.

The Gîte de Brassacou, set in an island of nature and part of the Conservatoire des Espaces Naturels, offers you a relaxing stay on a farm. You can enjoy the charm of the place, the beauty of the different landscapes and preserved ecological environments, the farm animals, the agricultural and educational activities developed on site or the nearby tourist sites. You'll also be able to find out more about local biodiversity and the work being done on the site. The Gîte is part of a global project, the Centre Agro Environnemental de Brassacou, which also includes the REVEAS association (http://reveas.org) (https://www.facebook.com/), which works to protect the environment and carries out agroecological activities. You can request agro-eco-tourism services and take part in educational events via the association, such as guided tours/events on the estate and discovery of biodiversity, or discovery of agro-ecological activities. An ideal place to recharge your batteries in nature, cool off in the river, stroll around and observe the flora and fauna.

Pamiers, 10 minutes away, offers a wide range of shops and festivities. Nearby: Toulouse, Carcassonne, the Pyrenees, Andorra: hiking, lakes, skiing, caves (Labouiche, Mas d'Azil...), Cathar castles (Montségur)...
