Gîte La Prunelle

Gîte La Prunelle, 3 stars, comfortable, quiet and bright. It can accommodate up to 4 people in an attic bedroom on the first floor (1 160cm bed and 2 single beds), and features a fully-equipped kitchen, a bathroom with shower and toilet, a small living room, and a work and reading area. Ideal for 2 people, but also suitable for families, couples and friends. Relax on a large private covered terrace surrounded by nature. Experience the essence of daily life on an organic fruit farm.

The 50m2 gîte, housed in a former hangar, adjoins the sorbet processing lab and our main house, but has its own entrance and covered terrace accessible by a wide staircase. From here, you can enjoy views over the pastures, the cherry blossom trees (in May) and the surrounding hills. You can enjoy direct sales of our products: sorbets, jams, syrups and apple juice.

All bedding and one set of towels per person are provided. The kitchen includes a 4-burner gas stove, an electric oven, a dishwasher, a fridge-freezer, a toaster, a coffee machine for beans and a kettle.

On the covered terrace (22m2), there is garden furniture, a large sofa, a deckchair, a water point with sink and washing machine. A barbecue is also available.

From the gîte, a bucolic wooded path leads along our grounds to a deciduous forest, where it's not uncommon to spot hinds and roe deer, or to hear the bellowing of the stag in autumn.

Heating is by wood-burning stove and/or electric radiator. We provide a daily wood supply corresponding to about two batches of wood, but a supplement will be charged according to consumption.

This gîte has no television. Wifi and a loudspeaker are available.

Pillows/blankets/duvets are provided, and mattresses are protected by quilts. All bedding is recent.

A washing machine is available on your terrace, but is only taken out of service in winter (but you can ask us for a load); a washing powder base is provided.

An espresso coffee machine is available. Remember to bring a pack of coffee beans for the week. A bodum (piston coffee maker) is also available for ground coffee (not supplied) or tea/infusions. Olive oil, vinegar, salt and pepper are available to tide you over.
