The small hamlet of Autembert, nestled in the heart of the lush countryside of the Boulogne bocage, overlooks the Wimereux Valley.
Located in a farmhouse near the small village of Wierre-Effroy, just a stone’s throw from a bakery, a strawberry farm that makes its own ice cream (a real treat!) , a local cheese shop, and a small organic market (open every first Saturday of the month), the cottage offers the perfect setting to recharge in the heart of nature.
You reach the front door via a few steps. Inside, you’ll find two spacious bedrooms with 160x200 beds, a cozy little landing for reading or watching TV, a fully equipped kitchen that opens onto the living room, and a bathroom with a shower.
The outdoor terrace and garden are perfect for enjoying sunny days, while a parking space with an electric charging station (for an additional fee) is available 30 meters away. We also provide 4 electric bikes (upon request, for an additional fee).
Yoga classes are held year-round on weekdays at our farm. You’re welcome to join in (more information available on-site).

My structure
The gîtes are former outbuildings of a 15th-century farmhouse that once belonged to the barony of Belle-Brune. We have re-naturalized a shed and silage area, installed a phyto-treatment system for wastewater, installed photovoltaic panels on the roof, planted an orchard, dug ponds and created a henhouse.
Territory description
Autembert is a hamlet in the small village of Wierre-Effroy, where you'll find an artisan cheese shop, a bakery and a small organic market once a month on the first Saturday. The gîtes are a 15-minute drive from the coast, where you can enjoy a wide range of walks and activities. The country roads linking the surrounding villages are ideal for cycling. The Boulogne-Sur-Mer national forest is a 5-minute drive away. Boulogne-Sur-Mer, its fishing port, its fishermen at the fish auction, its weekly market, its old town and the Nausicaa aquarium are a 15-minute drive away.
