Description

A small vacation rental in the heart of an organic vegetable farm, surrounded by animals and orchards.

We invite you to stay in the heart of our vegetable farm, located near Marquise between the sea and the countryside, right in the heart of the Caps et Marais d’Opale Regional Nature Park

The 35-square-meter cottage features a beautiful loft bedroom with new, comfortable bedding, a living room with a sleeper sofa, an open kitchen, and a shower room with a toilet. It also has a private outdoor area.

This former barn, completely renovated in 2025 using bio-based materials, is at the heart of a typical Boulogne-area farm. You can enjoy strolling through the 2 hectares of orchards and gardens.

Ideally located for exploring the Opal Coast, we’re 15–20 minutes from all the beaches along the Opal Coast. Situated inland, we’re also close to all amenities (including the train station, a 20-minute walk away).

Bedding, towels, and housekeeping included.

Seasonal vegetables and homemade preserves are sold on-site.

Farm-style breakfast available for an additional fee.

Pets allowed.

We are new farmers engaged in diversified vegetable farming, fruit tree cultivation, and raising laying hens. We practice organic farming on living soil, without the use of machinery. One of the unique aspects of our farming model is that we grow and harvest a portion of our crops to process …

Our eco-responsible and farming commitments

Our entire farming project—just like our life’s work—is centered on respect for the environment. It would take too long to describe here our commitment to living in harmony with the world and our environment while leaving as small a negative footprint as possible. The best thing to do is probably to come see for yourself!

How to get here?

We are located 15 minutes inland from the Opal Coast. The vacation rentals are accessible by car, thanks to the nearby highway. It’s also possible to arrive by train. My structure

We are located in a traditional farmhouse typical of the Boulogne region. The farm complex includes an inner courtyard, residential buildings, guesthouses, and farm buildings—including the storage shed and the future kitchen (for the cannery).

Set on 2 hectares of pastures and orchards, we’re fortunate to still have beautiful hedgerows and a well-preserved wood. We’re committed to promoting and protecting biodiversity here. We’ve planted new food hedges, created a pond, and set up beehives… Here, if you’re lucky, you might spot deer, hares, squirrels, hedgehogs… and a wide variety of diurnal and nocturnal birds.

Territory description

We are located in the heart of the Caps et Marais d'Opale Regional Nature Park. We are equidistant from Cap Blanc Nez and Cap Griz Nez—designated a “Grand Site de France”—and from all the beaches that stretch between them. The inland area features a relatively sheltered bocage landscape with beautiful open spaces and rich soil, offering a variety of local products to savor.

You can therefore enjoy the pleasures of the wide-open coastal spaces in any weather, including fresh seafood, as Boulogne-sur-Mer is France’s leading fishing port.

The historic center of Boulogne-sur-Mer, the many museums dedicated to the war or Calais lace, Europe’s largest aquarium, Nausicaa, and many other sites to discover are all located less than 20 minutes from the cottage.
