In the Médréac countryside, 45 minutes from the sea (Côte d'Emeraude, Saint-Malo and Cancale), 40 minutes from the Brocéliande forest, the Terre compagne gîte sleeps 2 to 5 people. On the first floor, the kitchen-dining room opens onto the garden-terrace. Upstairs, the family room "en suite" (in two parts) can be arranged to suit your needs, with 2, 3, 4 or even 5 beds.
This is a well-equipped 3-star self-catering cottage (washing machine, dishwasher, electric vehicle recharging point, TNT...). In terms of ecology, you'll appreciate the solar hot water, dry toilets, phytodepuration, wood pellet stove, mud walls, ceilings and rendering, lime slabs, Ethernet connections as an alternative to Wifi...
The gîte can be rented by the week, weekend or mid-week (Monday to Friday, same rates as weekends). Please note that for weekend stays, the website gives an underestimated rate (it applies the weekly rate pro rata to the number of days, whereas our WE rate is 60% of the weekly rate). Please disregard this and wait for our reply with a precise, detailed quote!

The gîte for 2 to 5 people is not accessible for wheelchair users, as the bedrooms are upstairs. However, you can invite a person in a wheelchair, as the entire first floor is accessible. And you can ask us to rent out the entire first floor for a PMR room (see "Gîte TC for 1 to 2 people, PMR" or "Gîte TC for 2 to 7 people" as appropriate). Don't hesitate to contact us to find the best solution for you.

Indications tarifaires
Our rates are per week, weekend or mid-week and not per day. Please consult our website for details. The daily rate of 50 € indicated on the site is the weekly rate in low season divided by 7. The basic weekly rate for 2 to 4 people ranges from €350 (low season) to €485 (very high season). WE and mid-week are 60% of the weekly rate. Extra charge for long weekends. A word of advice: ask us for a quote so that everything is clear!
Tourist tax is €1.21 per night for adults only.
You can organize your stay around special activities:
*** Terre Compagne workshops on ceramics, plants and agriculture (more info and prices on our website);
*** star hikes on foot or by bike, without luggage (we'll help you plan great itineraries!): we believe that itinerancy isn't always about going straight ahead; discovering the secrets of a territory in depth is great too!
If you have mobility problems, take a look at the Gîte for 2 to 7 people with its PMR room. We can rent you the entire first floor (bedroom, Italian shower room, kitchen-dining room and garden-terrace) for the price of the "Gîte for 2 to 5 people".

How to get here?
Easy access by car or bike via the RD61, we are located 1 km from the village of Médréac on the road to Montauban-de-Bretagne. If you arrive by train (Montauban-de-Bretagne station) or bus (Montauban "Place Bischberg" stop), we will come and pick you up.

Terre Compagne
In 2018, we opened a rural guesthouse on our tiny organic farm (1.5 hectares). One room is wheelchair accessible. We are 1 km from the V3 greenway from Saint-Malo to Vannes and the GR 37 long-distance footpath. Hikers, horse riders and cycle tourists are welcome, but please note that the gîte is rented on a weekend or midweek basis: plan a loop without luggage during your stay with us! We also welcome wwoofers. In addition to vegetables from our large garden, we produce fruit, apple juice, jams and herbal teas, all of which are organic ‘farm products’ (Ecocert certified).

In the core of Brittany's countryside, in between Brocéliande forest and Channel's "côte d'Emeraude", 30 min from Rennes and from Dinan, easy access by RD61 at 1 mile from Médréac village.
