Our eco-responsible and farming commitments
The house has been renovated to be energy self-sufficient.
Its heating needs are covered by a biomass boiler fuelled by wood harvested on the farm during the year, and by a solar water heater.
Following the same logic as for the pastures, landscaping measures have been implemented around the house to preserve the biodiversity of the environment (hedges, species associations, etc.).

Mandra Farm
Located in the Haut Ségala region at an altitude of 560 m, La ferme de la Mandra enjoys cultivating synergies between animal and plant production. We raise suckling ewes, grow vegetables and berries, and welcome visitors in our guest rooms...
The farm has 3 guest rooms that can be booked all year round to enjoy its exceptional setting throughout the 4 seasons. As the farm is located at the end of a cul-de-sac, you'll enjoy a calm and relaxing atmosphere.
The 3 independent guest rooms are located on the top floor of the house, with all the comforts you need for a family stay!

Territory description
Come and recharge your batteries at the farm! We'll give you a warm welcome in an authentic setting with breathtaking views. Located at the crossroads of the Lot, Aveyron and Cantal regions, you'll find it easy to get away from it all. During your stay, you'll also have the chance to live to the rhythm of the ewes and the vegetables that grow, to hike nearby or even to pick chestnuts...
Many walks are possible from the farm. What's more, there are many sights within easy reach of the farm. The farm's location between the Cantal mountains, Rouergue and the Quercy limestone plateaus means that the possibilities are many and varied. These range from the Padirac chasm and France's most beautiful villages, such as Rocamadour, to hikes in the Puy Mary and a visit to the Conques basilica with its stained-glass windows by Pierre Soulages, not forgetting old Figeac and its Champollion museum.
One of our plots on the banks of the Veyre is ideal for trout fishing or picnicking.

La ferme est située dans un hameau de 3 habitations. La tente safari est isolée dans une forêt de châtaignier à 60m des habitations, donc en immersion "pleine nature". Le bloc sanitaire (coin cuisine, frigo, douches et électricité) est à 30m de la tente. Celle-ci dispose de toilettes sèches à proximité. Table de pique-nique, hamac et salon de jardin africain devant la tente.
