Description

The gîte is on an old farm. As the daughter of farmers, I've kept this close link with nature and respect for the environment. My husband carves stone and loves to explain this art. We also have a vegetable garden! The region is full of historical facts! The department opens onto the ocean from La Rochelle to Royan and onto the Gironde estuary from Royan to Blaye by boat. The landscape is varied: plains, valleys, forests, water bears, vineyards, cereals (corn, sunflower), fruit trees, market gardens and livestock.
