At the hamlet of Sarda le fort, you' ll share the simple, friendly life of a hamlet with us.

Strictly speaking, it's not a farm. Isabelle is the daughter of a peasant farmer, and enjoys taking care of the place and getting her hands dirty. Stéphane has a professional background in agriculture and is a contributor to the MSA. We're both salaried employees and have "acteur rural" status with Accueil Paysan.

Our farming activities are modest, but essential to revitalize and maintain this place.

So we don't make a living from hosting, but hosting helps to keep this place going, just like the other activities.

We've lived here as a family with our five children since 1993, and now live here as a couple.

Here you'll discover the journey of a neo-rural couple who arrived in Ariège with friends, with, like many others, a dream of an alternative, collective project in the service of high ideals. We were confronted with access to land, the process of setting up a farm, the human and material realities... far from being a model, we see our journey as a concrete experience among others that says something about our rural and agricultural world.

Today, we're trying to keep this place true to its original rural vocation, modest and noble, with a human dimension. In return, we ask it to be self-financing!

With the creation of the "Accueil Paysan" gîtes in 2006, we're continuing this adventure, giving the place a new lease of life.
