Hello!

Three years ago, we decided to pursue our lifelong dream as a family in Bugarach, in the Aude region. Originally from the Nord region, and eager to work and live as close to nature as possible, we bought the Gascous goat farm—a producer of organic goat cheese and yogurt. Our family consists of: Tom, who manages the farm; Marie, his partner who helps out on the farm and works in the healthcare and social services sector; and our two children, Clara and Salomé. We have 90 goats, a few herding and guard dogs, chickens, rabbits, guinea pigs, cats, and donkeys! The farm is located in the beautiful triangle formed by the villages of Rennes-les-Bains, Rennes-le-Château, and Bugarach. A river runs below the farm, which is very pleasant during hot weather. It’s paradise on earth!

We engage in a variety of farming activities:

-animal care

-milking

-cheese making

- farm tours and farm-direct sales

-land and fence maintenance/management Now that we’ve taken over the entire operation, we’d like to expand our farm tours.

Our goal is to make our farm as inclusive as possible so that everyone can learn about goat farming! We therefore organize tours by appointment to meet the needs of various groups (families, summer camps, after-school programs, people with disabilities, social services, medical-social organizations, and healthcare providers!).
