Description

Come and stay for one or more nights, just like at your grandmother's house.

Bienvenue chez Mémé is a step back in time, a moment when time stands still, with a friendly atmosphere, spacious private rooms (towels and bed linen provided), a garden, shared common areas and a fully equipped kitchen for you to prepare your own meals.

In this large, fully renovated country house in the heart of the Puisaye region, everything has been redone ... just as your grandmother would have wanted! (Furniture, wallpaper, Burgundy floor tiles...)

Just ten minutes from the Guédelon medieval construction site, Saint-Fargeau and its castle, and other typical villages. The house is located next to our farm, where you can discover our buffalo breeding.

As a native of the region, I'll be happy to share all my tips with you.

Coming from a 7-generation Puisaye family, it was important for me to participate in the dynamism of my region.

Born in 1992, after working in the hotel-restaurant business, I decided to take over my grandparents' house on the family farm in 2023 and bring it back to life.

After a few refurbishments and upgrades, a complete redecoration, a redesigned garden, the creation of a new bedroom and a 2nd bathroom, "Bienvenue chez Mémé" welcomed its first travelers in March 2024 after 4 months of work in which some thirty friends came to work to create this unique place.

"Bienvenue chez Mémé" is a house full of memories and objects from my childhood, a place I'd like to share with my guests so that they too can relive their stay with their grandmother.

Conviviality, generosity and authenticity are values that correspond to me and that I wanted to pass on in this new adventure.

I look forward to welcoming you to this place where time has stood still, and to sharing my tips for discovering this region steeped in history.
