Description
The gîte is located at the end of the village, near the forest, in a peaceful setting, yet 10 minutes from all amenities and close to tourist attractions. We are retired farmers with a small beekeeping business, processing products from the hive (balms and macerates) and from nature (plants), and selling our products at local markets. We're close to nature and its treasures. Chickens and goats are also part of our daily routine.

Our eco-responsible and farming commitments
We prefer non-aggressive methods for the upkeep of our environment.
We have two goats that graze the sloping parts of the land, to avoid having to use the brushcutter. The henhouse is large enough to allow the hens to feed on grass, so that part of the land is maintained by them. The hives are in the henhouse.
We only mow the grass twice, to preserve biodiversity.
We have installed photovoltaic panels to heat a large water tank so that we can turn off the wood-chip boiler as soon as the weather permits. Previously, the boiler had to run all year round to keep the water hot, even in summer.
