Les Terres d'En Vénac

Description

We are Clément and Françoise (55), Eliott (15), 2 dogs, 1 cat, 3 sheep, the thousands of fruit and non-fruit trees that surround us, and all the flora and fauna that go with them.

Clément runs an agroecological farm comprising an 8.5-hectare fruit orchard, mainly hazelnut, which is currently being densified and diversified, a fruit tree nursery and permanent meadows.

Some of the fruit is processed (hazelnut paste, fig vinegar, jam, etc.) and sold directly and locally.

From time to time, we host and organize cultural events (animations, concerts, training courses, residencies).

The farm is located on the clay-limestone slopes of the southern Tarn, on 12.6ha, with orchards, meadows and pasture, parkland and ancient trees.

The reception area is located in "La grange" (activity room and 12-person dormitory, with adjoining kitchen and sanitary facilities).

The south of the Tarn is a pretty region (le pays de cocagne...), with Albi just 40 minutes away, as are Toulouse, Castres and the Montagnes noires.
