Description
Unique and atypical, our Tiny HouseKiwi (named after Catherine's native New Zealand) is comfortable, combining traditional wood materials and natural colors with modern construction and optimized storage. Its large bay window makes it bright, offers a view of the outside world as if you were there, and lets you blend in with the surrounding environment. A moment of disconnection where time offers you respite and presses the pause button.
The Tiny House is equipped with a kitchen and bathroom, allowing you to remain independent. The double bedroom on the mezzanine (accessible via the stairs) can accommodate a crib on the side, and the sofa on the first floor can sleep an extra 1 or 2 people (4 in total). Please note that the comfort of the sofa does not match the luxury of the large double bed in the bedroom.
The toilets are sawdust dry toilets, very easy to use.
If you'd like to stay in the Tiny Kiwi, with a view to designing your future lifestyle and acquiring a Tiny House, please contact us in advance.

Our eco-responsible and farming commitments
Covering a total of two hectares, the farm consists of two orchards, a meadow, a pond and two main gardens where we grow our vegetables using permaculture methods.
For us, it's simple: start with what's easiest for you. At Le Boulay, composting and dry sawdusttoilets seem logical, whether in our house or in the tiny house. Then one thing leads to another, and that's sanitation (using phytodepuration), so that everything returns to nature and our landscape at some point.
Shade from trees, healthy materials and paints and glues that don't make us sick. Then you can't stop, as materials are recycled, and you have to learn to make things yourself, or repair them (when you can)....
For us, it's taken years, and we're not yet self-sufficient in the garden, but this is our main objective, despite the incredible seasons we have every year. We don't change our practices for all that, we don't work the soil, we use animals (or not), we use organic and farmer seeds every year, even if everyone else next door has beautiful vegetables before us from purchased plans. The task is long, and perseverance is the order of the day.
What motivates us are the encounters we have with people who are already far ahead of us in certain areas, who inspire us, help us and advise us. And those who are just starting out, who want to make this world come alive a little longer, who want to change their habits - and it seems insurmountable but already so normal for others - well, we want to show you what all your efforts will achieve in a few years' time, and just how much everything you do will count.
