Description
Le Château Partagé is a participative habitat.
It's the home of twenty people (adults and children) who are committed to putting their convictions into practice: respect for the earth and the environment, energy efficiency, shared governance, simplicity and participation in the local community.
Le Château partagé is home to several professional activities:
- a market gardener (working with animal traction, peasant and organic farming)
- two bakers (organic sourdough bread baked over a wood fire)
- a group gîte with activity or meeting rooms. Two types of accommodation: bed and breakfast or self-catering. And social activities for children and young people at certain times of the year.

Thierry set up his organic market gardening business at Château Partagé in 2011. He works with horse-drawn equipment and according to the principles of "Agriculture Paysanne". The farm is modest in size and very self-sufficient. The two draught mares - Radieuse and Altesse - have more than enough working strength …
