Description

Two ecological gîtes on a 65-hectare estate of unspoilt nature (Natura 2000 zone, LPO refuge). A small herd of free-roaming ponies helps maintain biodiversity and wild orchids. Equestrian and artistic outdoor activities, exclusively reserved for guests and tailor-made for them. A private lake and boat at your disposal. Themed trails dotted with Land Art installations, a veritable Grandeur Nature treasure hunt. Absolute peace and quiet.

...We met at UCPA, as riding instructors, thanks to our shared passion for teaching, horses and nature.

We created "La Ponetterie", one of the first pony clubs in Belgium.

Its special feature was that the ponies lived in a herd, in meadows and in free stabling all year round.

Young riders came for sessions which, in addition to the actual riding, also included pony care and work on foot, to emphasize the relationship with the animal and the rider's sense of responsibility.

La Ponetterie was as much about ecology, ethology and education as it was about teaching.

When the time came for a change of life, it was obvious that the herd would not be dispersed, and that the "papys" could end their days in peace.

Today, the 65 ha. of Ensarnaut, located in the heart of a Natura 2000 zone, provide the ponies with a veritable paradise.

The eco-constructed gîtes allow us to welcome you and share our passion for nature and animals in a coherent way.

We'll guide you in observing the ponies in the wild, so that they can gradually reveal their secrets to you, and in working on foot to give you the keys to complicity.
