Marie-O: “The idea of welcoming guests has always been on my mind. In 2013, after our daughters had left home, thanks to some friends, a little spark inspired us to turn our plan into reality: to convert two bedrooms on the upper floor of our house.

I truly enjoy welcoming guests who stop by our home, taking the time to help them discover La Hague in all its different facets and the benefits of the nature that surrounds us, and sharing our backpacking experiences with hikers on the GR223 trail... , and to listen to each guest so we can share a moment together in simplicity and authenticity...

Jean-François: “I also appreciate these encounters and moments of connection. I’m happy to share my passion for farming. I’ve been running a dairy farm as part of a GAEC since 1992. There are five of us working on the farm—three partners and two employees—and we process part of our production, which we sell directly (milk and cream). We’ve chosen to make the most of pasture grazing, and we have a hay dryer that allows us to provide our cows with high-quality feed while respecting the environment. I also enjoy gardening and hiking—especially birdwatching.”
