The Fruiterie de Peyort is the ideal place for children and adults to spend a day, a half-day or a few hours in a workshop. Discover our daily farm life during a sowing workshop, contemplate the landscape, look after the ponies or get used to a gentle professional environment... the Fruiterie de Peyort is a haven of peace where discovering nature through the senses is possible for everyone.
On the farm, we are 2 farmers associated within a GAEC.
- Ella, I've been running educational workshops on the farm since I was 18, in social care settings. I have completed the "Savoir être et vivre ensemble" training course on child development and support for their construction. Passionate about my job, I like to pass on my knowledge in action, using all our senses. At La Fruiterie de Peyort, I offer mediation and care sessions with ponies, as well as nature discovery activities to boost self-confidence. I also offer English immersion courses at the farm.
- Flavie, I love it when bonds and discussions are forged during walks, immersions in farm work or observing plants and animals. As a former animator and teacher, but also as a guide, I have acquired many tools to pass on and help others discover, while fostering confidence in oneself and in others. I want the farm to be a place of learning and wonder.
A typical day at the farm consists of one or two activities linked to the plant production cycle, a quiet time to rest and return to oneself, a playful activity to discover nature and a convivial time around the meal, prepared together with healthy and tasty farm produce!
Our non-institutional home offers a secure and nurturing environment (self-confidence, autonomy, openness...), a time of respite and discovery for our guests.
Our aim is to provide a relay for foster families, specialized educators and living facilities looking for occasional or regular accommodation without lodging, with a transport service if necessary.
We are members of Accueil Paysan in order to network and ensure that our social services are in line with the association's charter. This allows us to benefit from training and supervision, enabling us to improve our know-how and reactions during our visits.
