LA JAURIE

Solar energie enthusiasts, lovers of gardening, thinking that nature conservation is important. We like to welcome you to our place and enjoy the 9 hectares of land with stream.

Our eco-responsible and farming commitments

The hills of La Jaurie have been inhabited by people and animals since prehistoric times. The flint arrowheads we found in the stream and vegetable garden are proof of this.

The first buildings can already be seen on 17th-century maps. We cultivate this beautiful piece of land respectfully, so that we and those who come after us can fully enjoy this heritage.

The major project we're about to embark on is the total renovation of the gîte La Porcherie. We're going to make it accessible to people with reduced mobility on two floors. These will be two energy-neutral apartments for four to five people. During the work, volunteers are welcome to lend a hand for a few hours a day, including accommodation and lunch.
