Territory description
Mouchard is a village at the western entrance to the Val d'Amour in the Jura department. Once an important rail hub, Mouchard can still be reached by train from Paris to Switzerland, and from Lyon to Belfort, despite lower traffic levels. Centrally located between Lons le Saunier / Besançon and Dole / Pontarlier ~50 km either side. Access via RN 83 and RD 472.
