Description
We produce meat and sell it in boxes for delivery or at the producer's retail outlet.
For organic Salers veal:
Veal is called veau rosé because the meat is pink rather than white. This is because the calves are not locked up, but remain with their mothers at all times. They go out to graze and suckle at will.
They are around 6 months old.
The veal boxes contain:
- 3 to 4 slices of filet mignon
- about twenty cutlets
- 4 to 5 ribs
- 2 to 3 slices of osso bucco
- 5 to 6 tendrons
- 3 roasts
- about 1.5kg of blanquette
In all, about 10 kg.
It's also possible to order a half-case, but the 10 kg case will allow you to have all the pieces.
It's also possible to order offal: liver, kidneys, heart, cheeks and tongue.
Meat is packaged in labeled bags.
Vacuum-packing possible.
For organic Salers heifer meat (female beef):
Red meat, more commonly known as beef.
In a box there are :
Filet, Faux-filet, Steaks, Ribs, Entrecôte, Fondue, Rosbifs
Pot au feu, Shank, Braised, Bourguignon
Liver, heart, kidneys, tongue and cheeks on request
In all, around 10 kg.
It's also possible to order half a box, but the 10 kg box allows you to have all the pieces.
Meat is packaged in labeled bags.
Vacuum-packing possible
For Mourerous organic lambs:
A whole lamb box contains: 2 legs, 2 shoulders, 7 or 8 barons, 28 chops, 4/5 slices of collar and about 1kg of stew.
Legs can be sliced on request.
The price per kg is 15.80 €, a half lamb weighs about 7 kg and a whole 14 kg.
Please order at least one week in advance (at the latest on Friday for the following Friday).
For Rove organic kids:
Like lambs, kids are raised on pasture and suckling their mother's milk.
It's a meat that's not strong, very fine... really delicious. A must-try. It can be cooked just like lamb, but we prefer it in a slightly spicy sauce with seasonal vegetables, or tajine-style with lemon.
Caissettes of half or whole lamb, with or without giblets (liver, kidneys, heart).
A whole kid contains: 2 legs, 2 shoulders, 7 or 8 barons, 28 chops, 4/5 slices of collar and about 1kg of stew.
If you prefer a different cut, it's possible. (sliced legs, sautéed shoulder...)
Our animals are raised organically, and in winter they eat hay and cereals produced on the farm, while the rest of the time they graze in woods, moors and natural meadows.
The animals are slaughtered and butchered at the Die abattoir by butchers David and Jacques.
We package the meat ourselves (labeled bags).

FERME DES HAUCHES
Surrounded by old oak forests and pastures, our farm is a corner of paradise.
We use organic farming methods.
The gîtes are located in the oldest part of the farm, a stone hamlet typical of the region.
We have rabbits, ducks, donkeys and mares, chickens and geese. (depending on the season and the birds of prey that steal our chickens!)
If you wish, you can feed them every morning with Isaline.
Our farm is a breeding farm with sheep, cows and goats.
We produce meat. We sell our meat by the box to order, by delivery or at the Champs Libres farm store located about 20 minutes from the farm (quartier les Rivales, 26160 Le Poët-Laval).
We have a lot of woods, moors and meadows, spread over the Bourdeaux canton, to graze the animals and stock up on hay for the winter. You can also take part and learn how to care for sheep, cows and goats with Clovis, Anna or Paul:
When the animals are in the pastures, you can accompany us to see them, move them to new pastures, help us make parks or just observe...It all depends on the grass that's growing. the program is made up as the days go by.
When the animals are indoors, we have to feed and mulch them, and during the birthing season (March and November) we have to make sure that everything goes well.
Our eco-responsible and farming commitments
We used to work with organic farming and extensive pastoral breeding.
We have adapted our farming practices to our environment: the animals follow the growth of the grass and we are self-sufficient.
We sell our products in a collective producers' store, in which we are particularly active!
We use local slaughterhouses and cutting plants.
In our gites: hemp insulation, solar panels, lime paint, phytodepuration.
