Activity description

On the farm, we learn with our eyes, our hands… and our senses—by taking the time!

We welcome visitors of all ages: elementary school classes (cycles 1, 2, 3, and 4) and high school students, as well as organizations, cultural centers, nursing homes, and special education centers—for full-day or half-day visits, or just a farm tour.

Come discover our daily life as organic farmers and ranchers, alongside our Angora goats, alpacas, and Vendée sheep, as well as our grain and herb crops.

Our activities are tailored to the age and needs of each group, as well as to the seasons and weather conditions.

We’ll explore the animals, plants, and biodiversity through nature walks, discovering ponds, and learning about the essential role of hedgerows.

We also offer fun, hands-on activities: craft workshops, orienteering courses across 14 hectares, and an escape game centered on aromatic plants.

These are simple, friendly experiences designed for learning, creating, having fun, marveling at nature, and gaining a better understanding of our work as farmers, our environment, and our region.

Access by coach is available. Our restrooms are accessible to people with limited mobility (PML), and a room is available for meals in case of bad weather.

Discover, Experience, Marvel

Since 2018, we’ve been sharing our passion for the farming world and nature through educational activities that are fun, creative, hands-on, and tailored to children.

Alpacas, Angora goats, Vendée sheep, wool, aromatic plants, a vegetable garden, hedgerows, and biodiversity: the farm becomes a true playground for exploration.

On the agenda: farm tours, land art, nature crafts, wool processing, escape games, nature walks, and orienteering across 14 hectares.

Here, children learn by observing, handling, playing, and doing. Each activity is tailored to the participants’ ages, the season, and the weather.

Workshops last from 50 minutes to 1 hour and 10 minutes and are organized in groups of 15 to encourage interaction and participation from everyone.

We welcome up to 60 children per day, divided into three or four groups, each participating in three or four activities.

A tour of the farm is required to explore our surroundings and understand the environment in which we operate.

Our goal: to introduce children to the world of farming, inspire a desire to understand nature, and instill a passion for preserving it.

My structure

The farm dates back to 1820. The restored stone building is used to house the animals, for educational activities, and to accommodate our guests.

We are committed to preserving our region’s hedgerow landscape and its biodiversity by planting hedges, installing birdhouses, and more. Our farming practices and management methods are designed to minimize our impact on the environment as much as possible. The organic certification of our farmland, as well as our commitment to Paysans de Nature through LPO 49, encourages and supports us in all these practices.

Naturalists and students in environmental studies programs are working to catalog all the species present on our farm.
