ALTHEA
The accommodation is in a farmhouse in Eringhem, a small village in the north of France, with a calm, relaxing family atmosphere.
The farmhouse...
Part of the farmhouse acquired in 2007 by Olivier and Séverine has been available since 2015 for the Association's activities and to welcome the public. The other part is inhabited by Olivier, Séverine and their 3 children.
The first steps on the farm...
The aim was to breathe new life into this farmhouse (which was no longer a farmhouse when Séverine and Olivier arrived) in order to reconnect with nature, animals and ourselves by welcoming animals:building shelters, putting up fences, recreating an environment favorable to biodiversity: planting trees, fruit trees, restoring the pond, creating a vegetable garden and sharing this place: creating a place of welcome "le local".
The association continues to grow, and Séverine has taken a training course offered by Eveil et Nature to help her offer workshops that are even better adapted to the public and in line with Althéa's values.
Since 2022, Séverine has taken up a market gardening activity within the GAEC des jardins Bio de Lucie et Séverine.
Since 2025, the Althéa Association has held the "Accueil Paysan" label.
