Emma's Authentic Cider Barrel

In my authentic cider barrel. It was used until 2008 in the Pont l'Évêque cider mill.

You'll enjoy an unusual stay in the countryside, close to animals and nature. The meadow with the animals is located opposite the barrel, and access is free.

Staying in an unusual accommodation means letting go of everyday comforts and embracing a more rustic way of life, allowing you to disconnect and share enriching times and experiences.

This Normandy-decorated tonneau, full of history, sleeps four (ideal for a couple with two children). On the mezzanine level, accessible by a ladder, you'll find a double bed (140x190), on the ground floor a single bed (80x200) which doubles as a bench, and a hanging bed (80x180). Inside the tonneau you'll find plenty of storage space for your belongings.

The kitchenette is equipped with a gas hob and a water point (250L), (hot water must be heated in the old-fashioned way with a saucepan). I can also provide a cool box if required. USB sockets.

Breakfast is delivered between 8:30 and 10 a.m. in a basket, at an additional cost. This meal includes fruit juice, a hot drink, croissants/chocolate bread or brioche, bread with butter and jam.

Shower with bucket. Alternatively, for washing up, you'll have access to a vanity unit with a bowl, jug and soap dish dating from the same period as the barrel. Gloves and towels are provided.

The dry toilets are located outside in a second cider barrel. As usual, you'll have a comfortable seat and paper.

Jacuzzi open in July and August in the communal areas, sleeps 4. Extra charge 10 euros per person.
