"Le Paludier is a traditional Breton thatched cottage. We have renovated it, retaining the natural stone and clay walls, the large fireplace and the exposed beams. It is located in the small hamlet of "Pen d'hue" near St. Molf, an ideal setting for a peaceful vacation in the heart of nature on the Guérande peninsula. The thatched cottage is attached to our house, in which we, the salt workers Ursula and Nicolas, live. The thatched cottage is rented out as a gîte for 4 people during the summer, and out of season we also offer the two bedrooms as bed and breakfast.

Just like our work in the salt marshes, our life at home is punctuated by nature and eco-responsible gestures. Sorting waste and saving water and electricity are important to us.
Between the chickens and the compost from the vegetable garden, there's not much waste left to put in the garbage cans.

LE PALUDIER
"Le Paludier" is a traditional Breton thatched cottage. We have renovated it, preserving the natural stone and clay walls, the large fireplace and the exposed beams. It is located in the small hamlet of "Pen d'hue" near St. Molf, an ideal setting for a peaceful vacation in the heart of nature on the Guérande peninsula. The cottage is adjacent to our house, with a shared garden. It comprises one bedroom with a double bed and one bedroom with two single beds, each with en-suite bathroom.
There is a terrace with garden furniture, a brazier and a swing for the children.
We rent the cottage as a gîte for 4 people during the summer months of July and August. Outside the summer season, we also offer the two rooms separately as bed and breakfast.
Territory description
La chaumière "Le Paludier" is located on the Guérande peninsula, in a quiet hamlet near St. Molf, on the edge of the salt marshes. We're 6km from the most beautiful beaches in South Brittany, in the La Brière Regional Park, 10 minutes from Guérande, 15 minutes from La Baule, 25km from St-Nazaire.
