Description

La Bergerie is a self-contained gîte with a small garden and covered terrace on the east side.

This studio has a kitchenette with 2 gas rings, fridge and mini-oven.

Next to the main room is a small shower room and separate toilet. 140x190 bed.

The windows face south, and the covered terrace faces south-east, with a beautiful view over the Ganière valley and the nearby Ardèche. Wood-burning stove. Solar hot water shared with our home.

Discover our welcome place and our territory

LE FRONTAL HAUT

We are no farmers, but we have chickens that lay eggs, and an organic garden. We know where to buy locally grown farm products. We rent 2 self-contained appartments for 2 adults(+ children) with separated toilets, and terraces looking over the valley and mountains.

Territory description

"Malons et Elze" is located right in the middle of Lozère and Ardèche, in the "Cévennes" Mountains. Our house, situated in the place called "Le Frontal", at 600m height, with a magnificent view over a chestnut-trees forest and a river. The house itself used to be an ancient local farm. We rebuilt it with healthy building materials, solar panels and a wood-fuel boiler.
