Nestled in the heart of the Dordogne, l'Appentis is a charming gîte built around the farm's old barn. It offers a pleasant view of the village church, traditional buildings and surrounding meadows. It's a place where you can live in the light, between two terraces and a garden where you can enjoy the peace and quiet.
Inside, the warm atmosphere of the living room with its hearth blends with spaces designed for cooking, sharing and relaxing. The bedrooms and mezzanine welcome families or friends in a simple, gentle atmosphere, ideal for serene vacations.
We've taken particular care to ensure that everyone, including people with reduced mobility, can enjoy a comfortable stay here: level access from the car, wide passageways, spacious and functional bathroom, easy shower, practical kitchen... Nothing has been left to chance to offer a truly accessible place, where you feel good from the moment you arrive.

How to get here?
Cendrieux is part of the new commune of Val de Louyre et Caudeau, halfway between Périgueux and Bergerac.
15 km from Le Bugue and 10 km from Vergt.
In Cendrieux, head for Périgueux on the D2 (official signposting) 500 m after leaving the town, turn right onto the Route du Crouzet.

LE JARDIN DU CROUZET
Couple of farmers on an organic market-garden farm, keen to promote their profession. 2 gîtes restored with natural materials, lime hemp wood, pellet-fired central heating. Pond 30 ares, bird garden. Gîte "l'appentis" adjoining the farm barn: living room with kitchen (LV-LL) and fireplace, 2 bedrooms and mezzanine. Gîte "le grenier": upstairs apartment in our Périgord farmhouse, living room with kitchen, 2 bedrooms, large terrace overlooking the valley, separate entrance. Plus, light, stars and silence!
Territory description
At the junction of white, purple and black Périgord, on the edge of a small village surrounded by forests and strawberries, straddling the 45th parallel, 20km from the confluence of the Dordogne and Vézère rivers. Close to Les Eyzies "Pôle International de la Préhistoire" and Lascaux. The Dordogne and Vézère rivers offer opportunities for "wild" swimming and canoeing. Well-marked hiking and biking trails and IGN maps are available.
If outdoor activities are compromised by the weather, there's always the option of visiting one of the many caves nearby: the temperature is always stable underground and sheltered from the rain. Back at the gîte, table tennis and table soccer are under the roof, while the pond is shaded by tall poplars.

Située au sein d’une propriété en pierre de pays datant du 18ème siècle, elle allie charme authentique et confort moderne pour un séjour inoubliable. La chambre offre un très grand balcon-terrasse, un espace de détente extérieur cosy et reposant, où vous pourrez profiter d’une vue imprenable sur la nature environnante.

Ce véritable havre de paix dispose d’une chambre à coucher agréable, d’un salon avec cuisine fonctionnelle et d’une grande salle de bains avec douche italienne.
