From GUERET take the direction of LA CHATRE, when you arrive at GLENIC PONT take the direction of GLENIC BOURG then ROCHE at the place called "Pierre blanche" (isolated house) turn left towards VILLEMÔME at the "patte d'oie" the gîte is opposite.

Between town and country, our gîte welcomes you to a hamlet at an altitude of 450m, 12km from GUERET on the RN 145 and D940, on the edge of the Creuse valley, the 3 Lakes site and neighboring Georges SAND country. The Aubusson tapestries are 40 minutes away, Limoges porcelain 1 hour and the Auvergne volcanoes 1h45 away.

The gîte, a farmhouse renovated for modern comfort (underfloor heating, solar panels), has 4 bedrooms, 2 shower rooms, a large living room and an integrated kitchen for 2 to 8 people. An independent living area guarantees a pleasant stay. Pets allowed except in bedrooms.

Glénic is a village of 650 inhabitants spread over 12 hamlets throughout the commune. The village's environment is defined by alternating meadows and forests, bordered by numerous sunken lanes and farm tracks. The Creuse River, which runs alongside the village, is ideal for fishing, kayaking, climbing (under the viaduct) and swimming (supervised beaches in summer).

Hikers and mountain bikers can discover these areas by taking a number of signposted trails from the viaduct, through woods and meadows, and through a number of hamlets. It's not unusual to come across deer, foxes, wild boar, birds of prey and other small animals that inhabit our countryside.
