Description

Self-contained gîte in a wood-frame building. Warm and welcoming, it's a great place to be in winter or summer.

Located on the first floor, private access is via an outside staircase leading to a small balcony. It's an integral part of our house, with a timber frame, straw walls and mud plaster. With a total surface area of 50 m2 , it comprises a living room/kitchen, a bedroom, a bathroom with shower and a toilet.

The bedroom sleeps 6: 1 bed 140x190 cm and four bunk beds 90x190 cm.

You can also choose to use the 2-seater sofa bed in the living room.

Heating:

Central heating (solar and wood) with radiators in the bedroom, living room and bathroom is complemented by a wood-burning stove (logs) located in the living room (wood supplied, within the limits of "reasonable" consumption, i.e. 20 to 22° ambient). Very easy to heat.

Equipment: Living room/kitchen: table, chairs, 2-seater sofa bed, stove, oven, dishwasher, fridge, crockery, pots and pans.

Bathroom: shower, washbasin, washing machine, clothesline.

Cleaning products, dishwasher detergent and washing machine detergent are supplied (Hakawerk ecological range). Please do not bring your own cleaning products.

The gîte is not equipped with a television. However, we do provide a wide range of reading material. Some games are also available in the reception room.

Pillows, blankets and comforters are provided, but please bring your own sheets.

Common spaces

The site is shared between several accommodations, for people who live here all year round, as well as for visitors and holidaymakers.

All outdoor spaces are shared, with several tables and outdoor eating areas at your disposal.

The farm store, where you'll find our products (eggs, sheep's milk cheese & yoghurt, ice cream, merguez, lamb meat, depending on the season) as well as many products from neighboring organic producers (honeys, jams, fruit juices, woollen knitted products, herbal balms, etc.), is available for self-service.

Our common room is located in the central building, and is also available to all those living on the site. Here you'll find a kitchen area, several tables, a piano & music corner, and a library. A good place to come for a cup of tea or a meal with friends, and to meet the other users of our farm.

Last but not least, we'd be delighted to welcome you to the sheepfold, where you can visit our ewes, poultry and other animals. At milking time in season, as well as during care and feeding during the dry period, you are most welcome.
