Description

A cosy gîte in the country of comté, pastures, forests, hiking, cross-country skiing and mountain biking.

The creation of the gite, in our old farmhouse, following the construction of a new livestock building, is a concrete expression of our desire to welcome holidaymakers to discover our region, our profession and share our experiences. The farm, taken over by our 2 sons, helps maintain AOC cheese production within a small organic cooperative.

This gîte has been designed to be warm and healthy, with a personal touch in the interior design using local spruce and a few pieces of furniture. Wood-fired heating and collective boiler.

A long corridor leads to all the rooms, with 2 large closets where you'll find brochures on the chapel, the Doubs, the Jura and Switzerland: books on the region and others, board games and a raclette machine - virtual tour of the living room (see site). -

BOURGEOIS CHANTAL ET PIERRE

Retired farmers, organic farm 100m from the village, taken over by 2 sons: milk, Montbéliardes breeding, Fruitière in the village: Comté, Morbier, butter. In our house, an old Comtoise farmhouse facing the Risoux rocks, 500m from the village, we welcome you to a gîte; on the ground floor a large entrance hall, on the 1st floor a spacious living room-kitchen and 3 bedrooms. Underfloor heating, wood logs and pellets, healthy, natural materials. Wifi connection. Rates may vary according to season.

Territory description

Altitude 1080m/1340m. Morez (Jura) 15mn, Pontarlier (Doubs) 45mn- D46: Chapelle des Bois, small mountain village in the Haut-Jura Regional Park on the Swiss border, fir forest, peat bogs, lake, coombs and rolling pastures with a rich flora, especially in June. Our house is located in a small hamlet 500m south of the village, 10 route du Jura.
