Le Château Partagé is a participative habitat.

It's the home of twenty people (adults and children) who are committed to putting their convictions into practice: respect for the earth and the environment, energy efficiency, shared governance, simplicity and participation in the local community.

Le Château partagé is home to several professional activities:

- a market gardener (working with animal traction, peasant and organic farming)

- two bakers (organic sourdough bread baked over a wood fire)

- a group gîte with activity or meeting rooms. Two types of accommodation: bed and breakfast or self-catering. And social activities for children and young people at certain times of the year.

Le Château partagé is located at an altitude of 520m on the shores of Lac d'Aiguebelette.

During the summer months, Lac d'Aiguebelette offers a wide range of activities: swimming, pedal-boating, paddle-boating, canoeing, rowing and accrobranche.

It's also possible to cycle around the lake, or go mountain biking on the heights of the lake.

Our region is part of the Parc Naturel Régional de Chartreuse, and there are many walks in the surrounding area.

Finally, we have the Isère Cheval Vert label and are part of the Chemins de Mandrin, a 300km long equestrian route through Savoie, Isère and Drôme.
