Description

I transformed an old building into a gîte in the heart of my village, a former 13th century Carthusian monastery.

After ten years in agricultural education, I took over my parents' farm with my husband.

When I retired, I wanted to keep working, so I transformed an old building into a gîte in the heart of my village,

a 13th-century chartreuse.

I like the contact and sharing this little corner of paradise, a listed village in the middle of a beautiful

nature.

This welcome is a real exchange and often forges bonds of friendship.

From Rive-de-Gier, after the Sainte Croix en Jarez sign, cross the small bridge over the river and turn right. The gîte is 20 m ahead on the left.

LE CHANT DU RUISSEAU

Fully renovated gîte in a listed barn. The farm has been taken over and we process the products of our animals (goat's cheese, farmhouse charcuterie, poultry, honey). I can accompany you on your visit, as well as that of the old Chartreuse, a beautiful tourist site in the region.

Territory description

Gîte located in the Parc naturel régional du Pilat, in the south of the Loire department, within the walls of the former 13th-century Chartreuse. Ste Croix en Jarez is on the D30 between Rive de Gier and Pélussin. Altitude 450 m. The Lyon St Etienne train station and freeway are 10km away.
