In short
Description
Live in the heart of the farm! It's a small stone building. Old world charm!
This is our smallest gîte for small families or couples on a budget.
It looks like a small village house of 50 m², on several levels. Old world charm.
With a 20m² kitchen-dining room, a small lounge area, 2 15m² bedrooms, a separate WC and a bathroom.
Wood-fired central heating and wood-burning stove.
Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher.
We supply cleaning products, dishwasher tablets, sponges and tea towels.
We do not supply household linen.
Large outdoor spaces to share
There are hammocks, swings, trampoline and ping-pong table (sheltered), black mountains for sliding or just space to make huts... Sand heap with games.
Garden furniture. Barbecues.
We welcome you to our farm. We work in organic agriculture.
The gîtes are located in the oldest part of the farm, a stone hamlet typical of the region.
We have rabbits, ducks, donkeys and mares, chickens and geese. (depending on the season and the birds of prey that steal our chickens!)
If you wish, you can feed them every morning with Isaline.
Our farm is a breeding farm with sheep, cows and goats.
We produce meat. We sell our meat by the box to order, by delivery or at the Champs Libres farm store located about 20 minutes from the farm (quartier les Rivales, 26160 Le Poët-Laval).
We have a lot of woods, moors and meadows, spread over the Bourdeaux canton, to graze the animals and stock up on hay for the winter.
You can also take part and learn how to care for sheep, cows and goats with Clovis, Anna or Paul:
When the animals are in the pastures, you can accompany us to see them, move them to new pastures, help us make parks or just observe...It all depends on the grass that's growing. the program is made up as the days go by.
When the animals are indoors, you have to feed and mulch them, and during the birthing season (March and November) you have to make sure that everything is going well. You can also come with us.
Most of the time you'll need your car, as not all our pastures and buildings are close to the gîtes (maximum 15 minutes).
Most of these activities take place in the morning.

Our eco-responsible and farming commitments
We used to work with organic farming and extensive pastoral breeding.
We have adapted our farming practices to our environment: the animals follow the growth of the grass and we are self-sufficient.
We sell our products in a collective producers' store, in which we are particularly active!
We use local slaughterhouses and cutting plants.
In our gites: hemp insulation, solar panels, lime paint, phytodepuration.

Territory description
Our farm is located in the canton of Bourdeaux, almost in Provence, but still under the influence of the Dauphiné: a very special and beautiful area, with a diversity of landscapes that are still wild and unspoilt: mountains, woods, pastures, lavender...
A network of perched villages to discover and beautiful old stone buildings.
NATURE:Nature lovers will be delighted by the wild, unspoilt countryside: the Ramières nature reserve in the Drôme valley, the Vercors regional nature park, the Saoû forest syncline with its Auberge des Dauphins, the Baronnies regional nature park in Drôme provençale...
SPORT:There's something for everyone: rock climbing, cycling and mountain biking, horse riding, hiking on foot or with a pack donkey, the GR965 "Sur les Pas des Huguenots" ("In the footsteps of the Huguenots") ...
FAMILY:Families can enjoy swimming in the river, tree climbing, bird parks, butterfly gardens, pottery, farm visits, nougat making...
CULTURE:You can also discover nearby places steeped in history: the châteaux of the Drôme, the Crest tower, the old village of Poët-Laval, classified as one of France's most beautiful villages, the Protestant museum...
EAT ORGANIC AND LOCAL: Markets, numerous artists and craftsmen, local producers or their stores where you'll find products from their farms, often organic.
