Bright, comfortable gîte for up to 12 people in the heart of nature. The old stone house keeps you cool during the day in summer. The large surrounding trees provide pleasant shade. The gîte has 4 bedrooms, including one with private bathroom, 3 bedrooms with shared bathrooms and a 4-bed dormitory. Twin 90cm beds can be made into a double bed.
A living room with fireplace, a dining room, a fully-equipped kitchen.
A covered outdoor terrace.

Our eco-responsible and farming commitments
Étienne has been in charge of and active in the SCIC grocery store La Carline in Die since its creation. He is a member of the Confédération Paysanne.
He was instrumental in setting up a bakery in the village.
Claire is a member of the fédération des paysans herboristes . With other villagers, she is in the process of setting up an associative café.
Both take on trainees on the farm to pass on their knowledge and taste for these fine crafts.
They are members of the Syndicat des simples, and have been organic farmers since they set up.

How to get here?
The farm is located at an altitude of 550m, 12km from Die (SNCF train station and bus station) on the D93, 75km east of Valence, 90km south of Grenoble, 80km west of Gap.
Isolated in a beautiful wooded valley, in the commune of Barnave, 2 km from the village.
To get there, take the Chemin de la Louine 2 km before the village, and follow the signs for "gîtes accueil paysan, distillerie miellerie". We've been farming organically since 1992, growing and harvesting medicinal plants and distilling them on the farm to produce essential oils, hydrolats and cosmetic and herbal preparations. In addition to the plants, Étienne runs an apiary with 50 beehives.
The gîte is a recently restored former silkworm farm, open from Easter to All Saints' Day.
Weekends or weekdays. Weekdays only in July and August.

SOLAURE distillery farm
We have been organic farmers since 1992, on a small 12-hectare farm. We grow 0.6ha of medicinal plants.
We also pick wild herbs, and distill them on the farm in copper stills. Étienne also has beehives.
All these fine products are found in a range of essential oils, hydrolats, cosmetics and herbal products sold directly at the Die markets on Wednesday and Saturday mornings, and at the "La Carline" store in Die.
The gîte is a recently restored former silkworm farm, open from March to All Saints' Day, on weekends or during the week.
It can accommodate a maximum of 12 people in the gîte, and two in the yurt located 250m from the houses.
Possibility of pitching a tent and renting a 30m2 activity room (capacity 10 people / adjoining 20m2 terrace) linked to the gîte for training courses.
Territory description
The farm lies at an altitude of 550m, isolated in a beautiful wooded valley, in the commune of Barnave, 2 km from the village.
The gîte is particularly popular with nature-lovers, who want or need a break in a tranquil setting for a get-together with family or friends, or for a training course.
There are plenty of walks and river bathing opportunities, as well as pretty mountain passes for cyclists.
We're at the foot of the high plateaux of the Vercors mountains, which give this region its stunning scenery.
In Die (13km), you'll find a departmental media library, an art cinema, a theater, shops, cafés and restaurants.
