In short
Description
Room facing east in the rising sun.
Entirely designed with recycled furniture, second-hand sheets and "homemade" decor, the Eden room is a 20-square-meter room, under a slope, brightly lit, with a convertible sofa in case you have 3 or 4 guests.
You can park right next to the staircase that leads directly to the room.
In the height of summer, the deckchairs and swings will be waiting for you.

Our eco-responsible and farming commitments
Our lifestyle choice focuses on the way we eat: Buying food in bulk for basic products (+hygiene and cleaning). We buy directly from producers at markets or local grocery stores.
We also focus on creating open outdoor spaces, with perennial flowers and local trees.
Our electricity consumption is managed by Enercoop (green energy) and we drive electrically.
Nesting boxes, hedges and branches are all created to preserve biodiversity in different parts of our living space.
- Preservation of local traditional habitat
- Green energy supplier
- Low consumption lighting and electrical appliances

How to get here?
If you arrive on foot and take the GR3, you'll have to descend the hillside to reach the valley, an extra 3.8km.
If you arrive at the house by bike, the "Loire à vélo" passes around the corner 50m away, and there's a sign for "Les Ateliers" attached to the sign for this itinerary.
If you're arriving by car, leave the freeway at Saint Germain des Prés, exit 19 (Chalonnes , La Pommeraye), go as far as Montjean sur Loire, follow the Loire to the Ingrandes sur Loire bridge, then head for Le Mesnil en Vallée and take the 4th road on the left to number 6.
If you're coming from Nantes, take exit 20 at Ancenis. Go to Ingrandes sur Loire, cross the bridge and follow the same directions as above.
The same goes for our motorcyclist friends...
If you arrive by train, I'll pick you up at Ingrandes sur Loire station.
If you arrive by plane (yes, that's already happened!) leave your MotoPlaneur at the Ancenis airfield, and we'll adapt!
If you're arriving by boat, dock on the quays of Ingrandes sur Loire (2km from the house), and we'll advise you...

Workshops
Our 1864 house owes its charm to a period when it was customary to transport materials by boat, and thus the tuffeau (white limestone) extracted from the cellars of the Saumur region, which adorns the entire perimeter and corners of the house.
Because it's in a flood zone, the house was designed with two outside staircases. It's from here that you can climb up to the guest rooms, which have been designed in Home Made style, decorated thanks to the proximity of an eco-cyclery, and the household linen is second-hand.
Each room has its own bathroom, integrated for the Oasis room, and on the landing for the Eden room.
Our garden opens its arms to you, with shade created by tall trees, a few games, benches and deckchairs for relaxing.
Territory description
Bordering the Loire River, our roads and paths are easily accessible to everyone.
Beautiful landscapes to the north and south of the river await you in every season.
You can also take a walk on the water, as boats invite you every 15 or 20 km.
The history of nearby villages (Montjean sur loire or St Florent le Vieil) can also be explored.
Activities can be organized around the river (CapLoire) or famous people (Julien Gracq).
A swimming pool (Aqualoire) to enjoy in good or bad weather.
A little viticulture in each of the surrounding villages is a treat for the taste buds, as are numerous markets, with their local producers.
