Description
A spacious room with old-world charm and a surprising bathroom on the bedroom floor.
The Hydrangea room, located on the 1st floor of the house called "les saisonniers" (independent access/owner access), is on two levels: the bedroom with its double bed (2x90cm, can be in two separate beds), its antique furniture (wardrobe, table, armchairs,...) and the large bathroom with bathtub (and 2 basins and toilet) accessible by a spiral staircase. The accommodation is all-season, as it is connected to our heating system (wood pellet boiler). Facing the Pyrenees, it's possible to see Mont Valier from the window.

Hoe and Brushes
We welcome you to "La maison des Saisonniers", an old farmhouse with 2 guest rooms upstairs (all-weather, pellet-fired boiler), private bathroom. Furnishings mainly from second-hand shops, eco-friendly household products, electricity from renewable energies. A large outdoor kitchen is at your disposal, as well as a 1000m2 garden with flowers and a pond; vegetables, plants and fruit from our kitchen garden (500m2 of organic cultivation) and eggs from our hens, will be served to you according to the harvest, processed or not. The products we serve will be organic or local, favoring small local producers.
Territory description
Located in the foothills of the Pyrenees in Ariège, our accommodation is in the heart of the village of Mercenac (D134), 10 min from the Cité de St Lizier and 15 min from St Girons (with its unmissable market), 19 min from Salies du Salat (thermal baths). It's a gateway to the various valleys of the Couserans for sightseeing and hiking.
